Signs of venerable flatulence

As a followup to "Don't Download This Song," Weird Al Yankovic has up a video for "White and Nerdy." The lyrics are clever, and the video is hilarious (Donny Osmond breaking it down in front of one of Maxwell's laws?)... and I have no idea what song is being parodied.

Yes, sometimes he does songs that aren't parodies, but I doubt that this is one of them. Instead, I suspect this is a sign of my losing touch with currently popular music. (Admittedly, current trends of specialization and narrowcasting make it less and less likely with time that anyone is really up on all of popular culture, so I may not be all that much of an old fart.)

Darn it...

Language Scholar

You scored a 330 out of 400 on language knowledge.

Outstanding! You've scored higher than even most Anthropology students would. You are probably a Linguistics or Anthropology Professor yourself (or at least a Grad student). You may even speak several languages and are possibly working on a new one. If not, then you just have an endless drive to learn about the different cultures of our world. Regardless, you are one of the gems of any society, always promoting a deeper understanding amongst all people. Unless you cheated of course.

Take this meme and shove it,
I ain't postin' them no more.
They take the S/N ratio
And drive it right through the floor.
Why not just think for yourself--
It's what we read your LJ for.
Take this meme and shove it,
I ain't postin' them no more.
