Song combinations

Some songs or pieces of music fit nicely together. Victor Borge did a wonderful job of combining "Happy Birthday" with the slow movement of Beethoven's "Moonlight" Sonata.

A combination that isn't as good has gotten into my head and will take a while to leave. It occurred to me just now that one could merge Vangelis's Chariots of Fire theme with "If I Were a Carpenter." It seems to spring from the similarity between the first phrase in the Vangelis and the phrase "and you were a lady" in the Hardin song.
